Utah County Warrant RecordsUtah County Warrant Records

For an official status, contact the Utah County Sheriff's warrant team or the court that issued the order. The court controls payment, recall, and hearing steps; the Sheriff answers county service questions. Keep a case number nearby. This website is privately operated and cannot confirm, clear, or change a warrant. The office list below separates court questions from agency-record requests so you can reach the right place first.

This is not a government office. Utah County Warrant Records cannot run an official search, clear a warrant, post bail, arrange surrender, or give legal advice. Contact the Sheriff or issuing court directly for those actions.

Warrant Questions for the Sheriff

The Sheriff's Fugitive Investigations / Extraditions Team handles Utah County warrant inquiries, county service questions, and felony extradition coordination. It is part of the Judicial Support Bureau. The official page lists two warrant inquiry numbers and an email; call before traveling because the reviewed source does not promise a public walk-in surrender window.

Use the warrant team for county service and status questions. The issuing court decides whether a court order is recalled and whether an appearance is still required.

Which Clerk Holds the Court File:

The Fourth District Court clerk handles district criminal cases such as felony and class A misdemeanor files. Official court materials list the Provo courthouse at 125 N 100 W and 801-429-1000; use the current Court Directory for the department named in a case. Utah County Justice Court handles county traffic, infractions, and class B/C matters at 151 S University Ave., Suite 3300, Provo, with 801-851-7200 and jcutahco@utcourts.gov.

Municipal Justice Courts have their own clerks. Provo lists 801-852-6878, Orem 801-724-3900, and Lehi 385-201-1090 in the research sources. For Spanish Fork and Springville, use the current State Court Directory rather than an old or incomplete document. Ask for status, payment, reset, and appearance instructions from the court named in the case.

The Utah State Court Directory is the current routing source for court locations and contacts.

Records Request and GRAMA Contacts:

For a Sheriff-held report or agency record, use the County NextRequest portal. The Sheriff's Records Division lists 801-851-4500 and SheriffRecords@utahcounty.gov. Its stated hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to noon. During construction, in-person access is limited and the page directs visitors to NextRequest.

The Records Division says to describe the material as specifically as possible, allow 10 business days except extraordinary circumstances, provide photo ID before release, and include notarized authorization when requesting on another person's behalf. A warrant-specific copy fee was not located. Reports start at $15, and video requests may have additional charges.

Use the Sheriff Records page or Utah County GRAMA request form for records. A request is not a warrant recall or a substitute for a clerk call.

County Justice Court Payment Desk:

Utah County Justice Court lists 151 S University Ave., Suite 3300, Provo, and weekday counter hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., except holidays. The court payment page accepts online, phone, in-person, mail, and east-side drop-box routes for eligible matters. Phone card payments use 385-276-3194 during weekday hours. Do not mail cash.

The card fee is 2.5%, at least $2.50, with an additional 1.5% for foreign cards. If a warrant is involved, call the court first to confirm whether a payment lifts the order or only pays a balance. Payments in the drop box are credited the next business day.

See Justice Court payment instructions for current options and totals.
