Information submitted to an outside search provider is subject to that provider's policy.
This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Visitor data is not assembled into a consumer report or a file about another person.
Outside Search Providers
The sponsored search boxes are run by third-party companies. Information entered in those boxes goes to the provider, not to this site's warrant records. Each provider chooses its own retention and sharing practices. Read the provider's privacy statement before sending personal information or paying for a service.
External Sites and Their Rules
Pages link to Utah courts, county and city offices, the Sheriff's site, and state records tools. Following a link takes you to another organization. That organization's privacy terms apply there. Review its policy before entering identifying details.
Advertising services may also use their own technology to measure activity across sites. Those practices operate under the vendors' rules, not under this policy.

We do not sell personal information. Data may be processed by the vendors that run sponsored searches, analytics services that count visits, advertising networks that place ads, or a government body responding to a valid legal order.

Reasonable technical and administrative safeguards are used to protect information this site receives. No internet service can promise that a breach will never happen. If a security issue is discovered, steps will be taken to address it and comply with any legal duties.

Utah's Government Records Access and Management Act (GRAMA) applies to public records held by Utah government agencies; it does not govern visitor data held by this private reference site.
